Ortahisar Fatih Grand MosqueThe building, which dates back to 914, was used as the head church in the name of the Virgin Mary Church in the period of Komnenos. It is estimated that the building, which is believed to have been built with a basilica plan and had 6 main repair revolutions, took its present shape in the 12th century. The master plan has three nests, the inside of which is internally rounded, the outside is multiplied. It has an interior and an external narthex. According to the records, the building that made Fatih Sultan Mehmet’s first Friday prayer was converted into a community with conquest, and the Fatih Madrasa was established at the end.
