Mosque and Tomb of Gülbahar HatunIt is one of the oldest and most original monuments of Islamic works in Trabzon. It was built in the west of Ortahisar, near Zağnos Bridge and in an Islamic complex, for the memory of Yavuz Sultan Selim and his mother Gülbahar Hatun. Only mosques and tombs can be seen from the Kullian daylight; Imaret, madrasa, bathhouse and school destroyed. Sources indicate that this work was completed in 1514. There is no building book for the glass. The mosque is in the Zaviyeli Mosques group, which forms a separate plan type in early Ottoman architecture. The workmanship of the wall is attentive. The windows, the last congregation site, the arches and the minarets used dark gray and yellowish white stones. The altar is made of marble. Edge border is plain, and the hill is herbal ornament. The pentagon comes to an end with a niche of mukarnas. There are two pairs of rose (rose-decorated) motifs in their corners. Minberde is marble and left plain.
