Aşağıhisar Walls
It forms the largest part of the old city. Walls start from Zagnos Bridge, reach Zagnos Burc to the north and reach to the sea. From 
here, it reaches south along Moloz Port, which is dated to Hadrian Period and merges with Ortahisar. It is known that these walls
were built in large measure during Alexios H (1297-1330) and were later completed. There are many gates to Aşağıhisar Walls. These
are the Zagnos or Imaret Gate, the Sotka (Milk) Gate in the west and the Moloz Gate in the north. In addition to the fortress of
Aşağıhisar, in the east (near the harbor tower), the Door of the Mumhane and the Pazar Gate to the south are opened.
